Shaftliner™ MS – now with mould resistance as standard!

Shaftliner™ 25mm plasterboard – used in our popular Partiwall® and IntRwall® systems – is now resistant to mould for at least 28 days.

Especially formulated for fire-resistance in multi-residential developments, Shaftliner MS is designed for use in internal wall systems. As these are often installed before roofing, there is the risk they may be exposed to ad verse weather. With the addition of MouldStop during manufacture, Shaftliner MS has been independently tested in accordance with ASTM D3273 and ASTM G21 – showing zero signs of mould growth after 28 days.

Preventing mould growth resists additional effort involved in cleaning plasterboard – adding to the existing advantages of Shaftliner. Lighter weight and requiring no mechanical cutting, Shaftliner is faster and easier to install than traditional fibre cement sheeting used for fire-rated applications. Plus, the ability to score and snap it significantly reduces airborne dust on worksites. The product is manufactured in Australia from local natural gypsum.

Shaftliner MS is now shipping to VIC, TAS, NSW, ACT, QLD and NT – available in WA & SA later this year.
