The first T Galleria by DFS (formerly DFS Galleria) opened in downtown Hong Kong in 1968 to complement the retail chain’s in-airport duty-free stores. A Honolulu store followed and, since then, the downtown duty-free shopping experience has expanded to 18 locations around the world – in Asia, Australasia, Europe and the United States.

The concept offers customers an expertly curated collection of the world’s leading luxury brands in modern and inviting shopping environments, as well as highly personalised services and unique experiences. As many T Galleria by DFS customers are travellers, each location also offers destination-themed products, many of which are tailored to the local market.

 

The finishes of the metal ceiling panels confers an opulent and glittering appearance to the designated Cartier and Omega areas.

The USG Boral Architectural Services Team was able to liaise with the local contractors to achieve the required ‘look’ for each of the T Galleria concessions. This included assistance with placing the order and tracking delivery of the materials. Now that the shopping centre is open and welcoming customers, the stunning results speak for themselves.
