 CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER

 Job Description:

1.  Analyze Business Processes

• Analyse existing business processes using various methods such as gap analysis or PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) to find opportunities for improvement as well as losses which troubleshoot further to determine root causes.

• Identify, remove, and minimize the impact of manufacturing opportunities through waste elimination, increased capacity, improved efficiency, improved logistics, and reduced complexity.

2. Develop Strategies

• Act as internal consultants, developing short- and long-term strategies for the organization and incorporating Six Sigma, Agile, and other practices. goal is to facilitate progress and reduce costs for workflow inefficiencies.

3. Lead Activities·

• Lead initiatives that integrate Lean manufacturing, throughout the facility, using continuous improvement (CI) tools such as: Kaizen events, 5S, Six-Sigma, OEE, mistake proofing, etc. to reduce waste, optimize capital assets and improving throughput.

• Develop training and coaching plan, communicate learning points and best practices from improvement projects.

4. Monitor Progress

• Facilitate Kaizen events with cross-functional teams

• Prepare monthly report for regional manager; communicate and report progress, status to region lean consultant & technical managers for any decisions.

• Prepare technical reports, case study documentation and training manuals. Ensure that a project plan is developed and agreed for each defined project.

5.  Provide Mentorship

• Mentor and train related stakeholders in lean tools and principles.

•  Provide guidance to sustain improvement changes.

Job Requirement:

• Education: Bachelor degree: Industrial Engineering/Technical major or any related majors.

• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role in FDI manufacturing companies

• Green Belt in 6 Sigma Certified

• Knowledge & skills:

Technical expertise – it’s essential for continuous improvement managers to have a firm understanding of process improvement techniques and experience applying these if they are to make organizational changes;

Organization skills – continuous improvement managers spearhead both the planning and implementation stages of multiple projects, so they must be organized and committed to meeting deadlines;

Leadership skills – more than supervisors, continuous improvement managers are coaches and company game-changers, inspiring other team members to give their best effort and setting the direction for many initiatives;

Analytical thinking – continuous improvement managers critically evaluate individual processes and projects, then synthesize their insights to arrive at a summary of overall organizational status;

Communication skills – being able to speak, listen, and write well is important, as continuous improvement managers often hold presentations, facilitate meetings and trainings, and create reports.

• Working Place: Hiep Phuoc Plant – Lot B3a, Hiep Phuoc IP, Hiep Phuoc Commune, Nha Be Ward, HCMC (shuttle bus provided in Dist. 4 & 7, HCMC);

• Working Time: Mon-Fri| 8:00AM – 5:00PM (the breaking time: 12:00PM – 1:00PM);
