USG Boral Malaysia Makes an Impressive Debut in the BCI Equinox 2017

The BCI Equinox is a boutique evening tradeshow which offers a platform for product suppliers and manufacturers to showcase their products and services to industry professionals. Unlike large-scale tradeshows and exhibitions, the intimate and relaxed environment offered by BCI Equinox allows new or existing companies to increase brand awareness in the industry.

The exclusive nature of the event meant that exhibitors had full attention of the attendees which consists primarily of project decision-makers, architects, and design professionals. Amongst the exhibitors that were present at this year’s BCI Equinox is award-winning building materials supplier, USG Boral Malaysia. This marks the company’s first appearance at the trade exhibition event and received a positive response from the attendees.

During the exhibition, USG Boral Malaysia focused mainly on showcasing the Durock® Cement Board, designed to offer a strong, water-durable solution for external drywall usage. It is basically aggregated portland cement board with polymer-coated scrim mesh embedded at both front and rear surfaces of the panel. The ends are square cut for easier installation and are reinforced to increase its sturdiness. As these boards are moisture- and mould-resistant, they will not suffer damage due to prolonged water contact; making it the perfect choice to handle the unpredictable Malaysian weather.
